England - Oxford

The Christ Church Cathedral was built in the 1100s but has been added to and renovated many times since. On this site once stood the convent church dating back even earlier, to the 700s. That church is where Oxford's patron saint, St Frideswide, was buried. This altar is particularly impressive!
